# VionRisk > VionRisk is a Monte Carlo simulation add-in for Microsoft Excel that runs @RISK workbooks unchanged and lets AI agents read and explain the results. It reads 239 @RISK-compatible worksheet functions, uses Excel as the calculator, and never modifies the user's workbook. VionRisk is made by Vion One and is part of the Vion platform. Version 0.7.0. Runs on Windows 10 or 11 with desktop Microsoft Excel (64-bit recommended); @RISK is not required. Pricing is agreed per customer; teams start with a 60-day pilot on their own models. ## Pages - [Home](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/): what VionRisk does, AI agents, compatibility, plans, roadmap, contact for a pilot - [Use cases](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/use-cases.html): seven worked models with real formulas, charts and answers - cost contingency (P80), investment NPV with correlated inputs, schedule risk, claims severity fitted from data, energy price paths, AI agents, the model life cycle - [Monte Carlo simulation in Excel](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/monte-carlo-simulation-excel.html): what Monte Carlo simulation is, Latin Hypercube vs Monte Carlo, how many iterations, reading results, how to make a tornado chart in Excel - [@RISK alternative](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/at-risk-alternative.html): what VionRisk runs compatibly with @RISK, how it is tested, what @RISK has that VionRisk does not yet, Crystal Ball models - [Model life cycle](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/model-lifecycle.html): model risk management - build, validate, host, monitor, govern; what exists today vs the roadmap (small language models) ## Optional - [Full facts for AI answer engines](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/llms-full.txt) - [Privacy notice](https://vionrisk.ussp.co/privacy.html)
